How Video Marketing Is Changing The Game For Internet Marketers

There is a growing trend of change in the internet marketing sales process…and video is the game changer.

In the past, internet marketers have hidden behind text and long salesletter copy and have for the most part avoided the youtube and social networking scene.  However, times have changed, and a new era for the internet marketer has dawned.

I first noticed this last year with the launch of Frank Kern’s “Mass Control 2” launch. Frank Kern’s entire salespage was a video. That’s it. No written copy. Just a video and a “Add To Cart” button. We also saw this with Amish Shah’s “The Magic Bullet System” launch, which was managed by Frank Kern as well. Keith Wellman has perfected the art of what he calls, “Video Skinning,” or his Automated Sales Formula – using video only in the sales presentation. Jonatham Budd, online mlm leader, doesn’t use video only salesletters, but he certainly uses video to effectively build his mlm online empire, and youtube. And then there is Michael Rasmussen.  Michael has been effectively using video in his affiliate product launch promo’s for some time now, and he even used a sales video (no written copy) for his latest launch, “Affiliate Launch Blueprint.”

There have been others who are attempting the Sales Video Sales Letter. Alex Goad did a relaunch of Google Conquest starting with a Sales Video Letter, but decided it was not converting very well, and he changed to a long salescopy letter in mid launch. Perhaps he doesn’t feel as comfortable as a Frank Kern behind the camera.

Last but not least, check out the front page of MarkDulisse.com blog where I use video only as a squeeze page.

As you can see, some of the recent biggest launches are now using the power of the video salesletter.

I want you to pay close attention to what I’m going to write here, because I believe it will catapult your business to the next level.

I recently read a WSO by Ellen C. Braun wherein she teaches in the WSO how to skyrocket your list size, and she uses her example from one of her sites where she earned $100,000+ from her list of 60,000 rapid subscribers. Very nice!

Ellen’s website is  http://www.raisingsmallsouls.com

On this website, you will see a little text link “Preview Video Here.” If you click on that link, a very nice video presentation popup shows. This is very easy to do using Powerpoint and some background music. If you follow the video to the end, a optin form displays. Ellen says that this optin form is how she has built her subscriber list to over 60,000.

Now, I’m not going to get into all the details on Ellen’s WSO, and the coding to put a optin form at the end of your video, but what I can say, is that the coding to do this is rather complex. And, it will take you a lot of time to set it up. Plus, if you want it done on more than one video, or website, you’ll be bogged down in coding all day and night.

Recently, I have been a beta tester for the recent launch of Easy Video Player. This cool software script will put a optin form at the end of your video with the click of a button. You can also do a whole lot more, like adding paypal buttons inside the video screen.

Additionally, not only does it create video players, like on MarkDulisse.com, or SEnukeSEOTraining.com (I have a order button in the video screen at the end), but also audio players like on my Niche Blueprint Bonus page. All these are created and added to a website with the click of a button. You can also have auto-redirect to any webpage after your video or audio is finished, and a lot more bells and whistles.

I recently changed my squeeze page at MarkDulisse.com to it’s present format of a “video only,” and since then, I am averaging 35 leads per day. Previously, it was half that amount. Results speak. And, I believe that Easy Video Player’s ability to let me put my blue arrow image and text at the end of the video screen is the reason for this.

Use video in your internet marketing business. It is an essential element. Video speaks to senses that written text does not. Not only can you use video as a sales presentation, much like the authors and marketers listed above, but you can also build a massive subscriber list.

By the way, this is my affiliate link to Easy Video Player, and the commissions received help pay for this website and the time it takes to put together informative resources for you. And, with the new FTC rules requiring this, I would recommend that you do the same on your sites.

Yours in knowledge,

Mark

  1. article submission service

Thanks for the resource. I like the new trend of using video instead of a sales letter…I used to hate reading through those long sales pages whenever major launches came out!

  2. Thanks for the info on video. I read Ellen’s stuff and there is a lot of coding involved to get an optin to display at the end of the video

  3. This post just made my day!

When I got up this morning my monitor gave up the spirit and I was busy just about all day long to get me an other one. The computer shop owner around the corner borrowed me a little-bitty one from the previous century.

Finally at home I’ve tried to read this article. But the letters were so tiny that I was afraid to go blind before I was at the end.

And then – what a surprise – when I came across this sentence where it says: “ … video is the game changer” I was so happy, I mean I was thrilled, thrilled, thrilled …

And at this moment I knew, at least the English speaking world reached a new era and will save me from the evil of long, long salespages with all these teensy-weensy letters. And I’m so thankful for this because I felt like seeing the sun after a long black night.

But this was not the only highlight of the post. I’ve also got the answer of a question I’ve had for months: Why is Frank Kern always a little more present in his videos than Alex Goad?

You can read the solution here: “Perhaps he doesn’t feel as comfortable as a Frank Kern behind the camera.”

When Alex Goad reads this, he will immediately know what the issue is with his videos. He will realize that he has to stand in front of the camera instead of behind. And I’m sure from then on he will enjoy his videos more than salesletters.
